Standard DTF pressing at a glance
Use this baseline only for Standard DTF; speciality film instructions can differ.
Pre-press the garment
Press for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and flatten fibres. This is non-negotiable.
Position the transfer
Place the transfer film-side up on the garment. Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet.
Press with firm, even pressure
Use 150–160°C for 10–15 seconds as the Standard DTF baseline, unless the product instructions say otherwise.
Let it settle, then peel as directed
Allow at least 3 seconds, then follow the warm- or cold-peel direction supplied with the transfer.
Finish press
Cover with parchment and press for 10 seconds to lock adhesion and improve wash resistance.
